Back in January, I visited the Botanical Gardens in Dublin to shoot a fashion editorial for Expose Magazine. I had been dying to see this place in real life for such a long time. Located just 3 km from Dublin city centre, the National Botanic Gardens are an oasis of calm and beauty, and best of all – entry is FREE! I truly couldn’t get over the beauty I was met with that day, the colours, the smells, the sounds and the beautiful sunshine glistening off the glass of the houses. The historic Victorian wrought iron glasshouses are some of the most beautifully put together structures I have ever seen. They themselves alive with the beauty they house. As we were working on the day, I didn’t see even a fraction of what the gardens have to offer and believe me when I say; I cannot wait to go back in summer and see the gardens in their full beauty.
