Last year, I had the pleasure of shooting with the very beautiful Actor, Méabh Ní Chualáin. I cant believe I never blogged these images but one thing lead to another and soon after I shot these I ended up injuring myself. I had to put the camera down for awhile and take a break but here they are, I just loved doing this shoot!

Méabh is a regular on the popular Irish language soap, Ros Na Rún on the TG4 Irish language Television channel. I sort of knew her through a friend of mine and from the arty scene in Galway too. I had previously shot with the lovely Séona Tully who also is a regular on the program too (Séona was my first shoot ever!!) so it was lovely to work with another person from Ros Na Rún!

I was delighted when she emailed me about shooting some photos as I just love working with Actors! Even though I love models, I do – working with an actor in from of the camera is so different to a model. They can really, really act and portray emotions, its incredible and brilliant for a photographer!

So we decided to shoot around Galway on a busy Autumn day. Méabh had her friend and TG4 makeup artist Anna McDonnagh join us to do makeup. I knew Anna also through Into The West Blogger Network as she is a beauty blogger too so it was great to finally work with her in this capacity and see her do her stuff! She is an excellent makeup artist and a true professional! I real enjoyed this shoot and loved finally working with beautiful Méabh. Here are some of my faves from the shoot!

Suzanne is a talents Makeup artist here in Galway. She has a flair for the colourful & truly puts 100% into her work. We had been meaning to work together on a shoot for a long time but life kept getting in the way. So after meeting her on a shoot that we were both working on recently, we decided to meet up for coffee, make plans and also shoot some portraits. I loved shooting her portraits, although she was a teeny bit shy at first, Suzanne is beautiful and in no time was completely at ease in front of the camera.. Plenty of giggles later here are the photos! Hope you like! Check out Suzanne work here
