Sometimes, I set out to a shoot with a strong image in my head and when its achieved, on point, I am truly happy! This was no exception! The images are literally painted little pieces of what I had in my head weeks before the shoot. With the amazing Carmel Daly on board to style I knew she had it!
Shot exclusively for Galway Now Magazine in one of my favourite places in the West of Ireland, our Boho Bride was born! Model is Kate from Catwalk Modeling Agency, MUA was by Flora Psarianos & hair was by Melissa Moran Hair Designs. The gorgeous wild bouquets were made by Lorna at A Room in Bloom – Althone. Heres the shoot I worked on for Xposé Magazine back in January. Shot on my birthday actually! So it was a very early morning start travelling from Galway to Dublin in the dark hours! Luckly I had the wonderful Flora to keep me company! Themed with pops of colour and fresh prints for SS14 not to mention the class fiery orange hair – thanks Helen! This editorial is fast becoming one of my favourites!! Shot on location at the beautiful National Botanical Gardens in Dublin. The gardens are a photographers heaven so I absolutely loved shooting here with my unreal team. I blogged the behind the scenes here last month although it was all pretty flowers! Hope you like! If you have any questions or comments, leave them below, Id love to hear them!

Shot on a cold January morning, our wedding bride on the way from cork and our groom from Dublin. Both making their way to a little train station outside of Galway. Little did they know it was the same train station featured in the the 1951 Hollywood film, ‘The Quiet Man’. In the film, a special old steam train came out from Tuam each day for that scene where the beautiful Maureen O’Hara, newly wedded is leaving by train when hubby, John Wayne rides in and finds her in the last carriage and drags her away to get her `fortune’ from her brother.
Even with the near freezing cold weather, we had such fun shooting this story. The shoot was then featured in the Galway Now weddings issue and then picked up again  by UK based wedding agazine, Ultimate Weddings UK. It also featured briefly on the Today Show on TV3 with the Galway Now Editor Grainne Mc Mahon.
